Ippo ("the App") is an Android app for people studying Japanese: a cheat sheet of grammar and vocabulary, hiragana and katakana tables, the first kanji and flashcards.

1. No personal data collected

The App has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. It does not ask for the internet permission and sends nothing to us: we have no servers.

2. Data on your device

The App's content is built in. The App does not save what you type in the search box or which flashcards you answered.

3. Pronunciation

When you tap a Japanese text, the App passes that text, and nothing else, to the text-to-speech engine installed on your phone (for example Google's Speech Services). Depending on the engine, and on whether its Japanese voice is downloaded, the engine may process the text online, under its own privacy policy (for Google: policies.google.com/privacy). The texts read aloud are the App's own content.

4. Links

The email addresses and links on the "About & credits" page open your mail app or your browser. What you send from there is handled by those apps.

5. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not collect information from anyone, including children.

6. Changes to this policy

Future versions may add features that store your own notes, such as a backup to your Google Drive. This page will describe them, with a new "Last updated" date, before they are released.

Ippo ("l'App") è un'app Android per chi studia il giapponese: un cheatsheet di grammatica e vocaboli, le tabelle di hiragana e katakana, i primi kanji e le flashcard.

1. Nessun dato personale raccolto

L'App non ha account, statistiche d'uso, pubblicità né tracciamento. Non chiede il permesso di accesso a internet e non ci invia nulla: non abbiamo server.

2. Dati sul dispositivo

I contenuti dell'App sono già inclusi. L'App non salva quello che scrivi nella ricerca né le risposte alle flashcard.

3. Pronuncia

Quando tocchi un testo giapponese, l'App passa quel testo, e nient'altro, al motore di sintesi vocale installato sul telefono (per esempio i Servizi di sintesi vocale di Google). A seconda del motore, e se la sua voce giapponese non è ancora scaricata, il motore può elaborare il testo online, secondo la propria informativa (per Google: policies.google.com/privacy). I testi letti sono i contenuti dell'App.

4. Link

Gli indirizzi email e i link della pagina "Info e credits" aprono la tua app di posta o il browser. Quello che invii da lì è gestito da quelle app.

5. Minori

L'App non è rivolta ai minori di 13 anni e non raccoglie informazioni su nessuno, minori compresi.

6. Modifiche a questa informativa

Le versioni future potranno aggiungere funzioni che salvano appunti tuoi, come un backup sul tuo Google Drive. Questa pagina le descriverà, con una nuova data di aggiornamento, prima che escano.
